GREAT EASTERN ROAD
BRENTWOOD, ESSEX

A small contemporary garden in Brentwood, Essex designed by Blue Gerbera Garden Design

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Belonging to a quaint Victorian railway workers cottage, this garden transforms a compact area into a sophisticated and contemporary outdoor haven, complete with designated spots for indulging in an al fresco breakfast or finding tranquility while engrossed in a book.

Our client, who works from home, presented us with the challenge of designing a space that would not only provide an escape from his desk during the day but also offer a place of relaxation in the evenings. To ensure minimal maintenance, we carefully selected a combination of evergreen structural shrubs, complemented by bursts of vibrant colors from herbaceous perennials, climbers, and bulbs.

A striking, custom-made timber artwork installation occupies the far end of the garden, elevating the ambiance and serving as a captivating focal point. This unique addition adds a touch of sophistication, further enhancing the overall appeal of the space.
